STEM / Robotics Instructor
Job Summary

Become a part of our Young Engineers worldwide teaching programs!!

Young Engineers programs are prestigious after school activities for elementary school children in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).In these programs we will build motorized LEGO® models in order to teach theoretical STEM concepts.

After a short theoretical explanation, the children will start building motorized LEGO® models for them to understand and implement the theory they’ve just learned. Our training will include all the taught materials and develop your LEGO® building skills.

Location: Milton and/or Campbellville


Camps – 8 weeks from July 5 – August 27, 2021 (Monday to Friday 9-4 pm)

Responsibilities and Duties

Teach robotics and coding concepts to children ages 4-12
Be approachable, helpful, and familiar with the STEM concepts and motorized LEGO®
Assist children ages 4-12 on building models
Provide leadership on guiding groups of children with assertiveness and kindness
Provide skillful coordination of our Science Technology Engineering and Math camp activities.
Participate in the planning and teaching of the day’s STEM activities and science experiments.
Maintain and follow all COVID health guidelines as required by the Ministry of Health.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills


Must have a STEM background such as a degree in science, engineering, math
Leadership and supervision skills
Own vehicle preferred
Must love working with children and have a passion innovation and STEM
Must have strong communication skills both verbal and written
Police check required
CPR and First Aid Experience required

Will develop skills related to:

Teaching Individualized literacy program development
Working with children
Creativity Interpersonal communication
Gaining an understanding of the special needs of a vulnerable reader
Increased knowledge of Learning Disabilities and/or AD(H)D
